In honor of Cinco de Mayo and the warmer months approaching, I thought it would be fun to share how to style one of our Mexican dresses multiple ways.
Obviously, I love Mexican dresses! I grew up wearing them, but as a petite lady with curves, I have to think of flattering ways to wear this bohemian style dress.
Adding a layer like a denim vest or jacket is always a good idea to help accentuate your curves and cut in on the boxiness of this style of dress. It also creates a more finished look. I dressed it down with bright white sneakers to stay comfy and cute.

Another trick I use to show my shape is sporting a crossbody bag. It helps to have the strap going across and it's the same idea as wearing a belt which would be another option for this look.

Wearing a lightweight kimono layer with a tie in the front is a chic way to look put together and fancy for cooler evenings.

I hope y'all enjoyed seeing how I style a Mexican dress! Which look is your favorite?
Don't forget that these dresses also make great swimsuit cover-ups for your beach vacays! Throw on your fave sandals, grab a cute tote, sunnies, and you are ready for anything!
Love. Mucho Mucho.
